Sincere thanks for any help you may be able to offer. I know I'm missing something stunningly primitive but, well, that pretty well describes my skills. (Under sub head "STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS", it's instruction number 2)Īll the HELP references in OO/c seem to be to cells, rows, columns and numbers but none to entire sheets. When you write a long text in a cell, it wraps automatically to fit into the cell. The paragraph alignment is Left, with an indentation of 0.64 cm before the text and 0 cm after. If the above description of Excel sounds reasonably informed, it's because I mostly cut and pasted it from a how-to I'm trying to follow, the link for which follows: Formatting a table template: The text font is the same as the Text Body style. You click once on the “Format as Table” drop down, and then select your desired color scheme. ![]() You click anywhere within the data on your worksheet, then locate the “Home” tab in the Excel menu system (“the ribbon”). ![]() In Excel, I'm told, you can convert a spreadsheet to a “table”. I'm sure my question is remedial, but I haven't found the answer in HELP or online, so I turn to you folks. (I am a complete novice - not just to Open Office/calc but to spreadsheets.
